The Book of Quests

Leather bound and stiff backed, this book seems almost too new for the library that it's in. Cracking open the cover, the paper is far finer than the clearly hand made papers of the time.

The type on the pages is crisp, clear and almost impossibly even.

The Tragedy of the White Forest

After numerous reports of a strange will o the wisp days previous, the White Forest burned over night, turning from a forest of White to a forest of Black. The cause of this is still unknown as it is not yet the season for Dragons.

The same night that the White Forest was charred to Black, the King's White Mage fell into an enchanted sleep. None have yet been able to determine the cause and kisses have proven ineffective in waking him.

The Totentanz home, long since abandoned and thought to be cursed and haunted, was given to the Heroes of Schwanheim. Despite a bumpy start, the house has been quiet until the unearthing of the basement....

The King has been acting quite odd lately. Vanishing when the Hero of the Mountain arrived, retreating inside the Castle after the White Forest burned, and then going off somewhere after... Some reports say he's even acting serious! It's all very strange....
